NSW Transport Facility Point Dataset - NSW Road Associated Structures

Transport facility point represents a facility related to transport. It is a point feature class of the NSW Digital Topographic Database ( DTDB), within the Transportation theme. A transport facility can be an airport, bus interchange, helipad, marina, parking area, railway station, roadside rest area, roadside emergency telephone or heavy vehicle checking station. These are stored in the class subtype attribute field in the dataset.

NSW Relative Heights Dataset

Relative Height represents the relative heights of a vertical face of a cliff. The range of height values is between 0 -1000 m, within a vertical accuracy range of 1 – 10 m. Relative height is a point feature class of the NSW Digital Topographic Database ( DTDB ), within the Physiography theme. There is no overall accuracy reported in the database, however accuracy of the individual feature instances of each feature class can be found in the database tables.

NSW Railway Dataset

Railway represents a permanent way which has one or more rail lines providing tracks for vehicles. A railway can be heavy rail, light rail, monorail and heavy rail siding, for example a railway, tramway or monorail. A railway can be on ground, a bridge, in a tunnel or on a culvert . Railway gauges are also included. Railway is a line feature class of the NSW Digital Topographic Database ( DTDB ), within the Transportation theme.

NSW Property Dataset

Property data is a polygon feature class that spatially represents an aspatial property description as provided by the Valuer Generals Department in their ValNet database. Properties are divided into 3 categories: ‘Property’ (Complete), ‘Incomplete’ and ‘Other’. For more information and definitions of each feature class, feature instance and their attributes please refer to the LPI GURAS Data Dictionary.

NSW Plant Community Type Classification

The NSW Vegetation Information System (VIS) is being established
to provide the NSW Government, its clients and community with a
central authoritative repository for native vegetation data.
The NSW VIS Plant Community Type Classification (VIS
Classification Database) establishes a NSW Master Plant
Community Type as focal point for both vegetation type mapping
and regulatory assessment processes. The VIS Classification
database stores a broad range of data related to the individual Plant
Community Types (PCTs), including:

ACT Water Polygon

The ACT Water Polygons dataset contains polygon information representing an area of land that is or may be covered in water, either intermittently or constantly, temporarily or permanently. The ACT Water Polygons dataset contains polyline information representing an area of land that is or may be covered in water, either intermittently or constantly, temporarily or permanently. The Water Features dataset was digitised in 1995 from 1:10,000 Plan Series, 1:2,500 Cadastre, 1:2,500 Detail, 1:1,000 Detail and traced from Topobase.

NSW SLATS LANDSAT Woody Change: Derived Vector Database 1988 - 2010

This dataset was derived from the primary ‘SLATS Landsat woody
change data (25m) for 1988 – 2010’ raster (grid) layers used to
generate the annualised woody vegetation change rates for the
2010 NSW Annual Report of Native Vegetation. This data describes
the areas and type of woody vegetation change (loss) based on the
analysis of multi-date Landsat imagery covering NSW.
This data is based on a biennial LANDSAT coverage between 1988-
2006 and annual coverage 2006-2010. LANDSAT Imagery 1988-
