The Natural Resources Management (NRM) Boundaries define the area of responsibility for each of the State's eight NRM Boards. These Boards are responsible for the planning and management of the region's Natural Resources and will undertake many of the roles formally performed by the Catchment Water Management Boards, Soil Conservation Boards, Animal and Plant Control Boards etc. This data set can be used to show the location of NRM Boundaries in South Australia

Dataset Lineage

This dataset was constructed by combining existing datasets such as Catchment Water Management Board and Hundred boundaries. The new boundaries were repeatedly modified and adjusted until they were topologically coincident with the South Australian Digital Cadastral Database.
