Imagery - Elevation Catalog

The Digital Elevation Model Imagery Catalog layer describes precision and non-precision elevation datasets acquired from LiDAR and aerial / satellite sensors currently archived on the DEWNR ImageServices server (Samba server). Precision elevation products are defined as Digital Elevation Models (DEMs - bare earth) captured from LiDAR sources and photogrammetrically derived and edited from aerial cameras. Non-precision Digital Surface Models (DSMs) are unedited and do not have an accuracy specification and are created during the aerotriangulation process. Their purpose is to ensure the imagery meets the required horizontal accuracy specification. The layer contains attribute information including extent, grid spacing, year of acquisition, source, average point density, accuracy (horizontal and vertical), available projections, any licensing restrictions and folder location on the Samba Server.
