NT Geodetic Survey System (NT GESS)
The dataset contains an extract of survey control information derived from the Survey Marks Data Base, the current repository for the Northern Territory Geodetic Survey System (NTGESS), created and maintained by the custodian, Survey Services, Land Information Division. The primary function of NTGESS is to maintain the official record of horizontal and vertical survey control data, and as such this extract includes positional, height and other information such as locality sketches.

Statistical Boundary Data Set of the Northern Territory
Statistical Boundary Data Set of the Northern Territory is to provide Government and agencies with the facility to access and combine whole of government statistics across agencies. It is created largely on the basis of the Digital Cadastral Database of the Northern Territory. These common statistical regional boundaries align with the Australian Bureau of Statistics' (ABS) Australian Standard Geographic Classification (ASGC 2006) to provide uniform demographic and spatial geography for Government policy development and implementation.

Northern Territory. The data utilised to produce the map was provided by EKOS Research NT, AAPA, ATSIC, CLC and NLC. The information encompasses detailed data relating to types of land tenure and ownership within the Northern Land Council (NLC); the Central Land Council (CLC); the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) region.
