This imagery dataseries is a collection of mosaics covering a specified project or emergency response area. These include floods, storms, hail, fire, tidal surges and drought etc. This imagery may have been flown at a variety of image resolutions and coverage dependant on the nature of the emergency and the specific technical requirements of the emergency response activity. They were created by ortho-rectifying, colour matching and joining overlapping image strips captured with multiple flight lines over the project area using a Leica airborne digital sensor.
Place point represents named places in NSW. A place point can be a region, city, town, village, locality or suburb. There are two attributes, population source and population, that are not currently maintained. Place point is a point feature class of the NSW Digital Topographic Database ( DTDB ), within the Cultural theme. There is no overall accuracy reported in the database, however accuracy of the individual feature instances of each feature class can be found in the database tables.

General Cultural Point represents cultural features as points. General Cultural points include General Recreation Point, Aquaculture (such as oyster leases, fish farms and cray fish farms), Restricted area (defence, catchments or sub marine cable protection zone), General Industry Point (Dumping Ground, Intensive Live Stock Facility, Mine-Underground, Quarry-Open Cut, Pump, Silo-Farm, Silo-Commercial, Stock Saleyard, Telephone Exchange, Wind Pump, and Yard-Rural), Building, Race Track, Tower, Cemetery, Pondage, or Beacon.
General Cultural Area represents the areas of the general cultural feature types restricted area (defence, catchment, and submarine cable protection zone), building, plantation (only orchards, vineyards, silviculture and crops of landmark significance are identified), built up area, and pondage (settling pond, water filtration bed, or a public, commercial or domestic swimming pool).
