It contains historical and current data and is updated daily as part of the Department's administrative activities. Electronic Title searches in the NT access this data set. ILIS also supplies theme and attribute data to ILIS Maps, the Department's geographic enquiry system.

The Register of Indigenous Land Use Agreements contains information about agreements made between people who hold, or may hold, native title in an area and people who have, or wish to gain, an interest in that area.
